Suit boot mein aaya kanhaiya…

Little did Anil Kapoor know that the lyrics to one of his songs would turn out to be the story of Kanhaiya Kumar’s life. The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union President Kanhaiya was arrested on charges of sedition and released on bail after 18 days.

On Thursday night, Kanhaiya returned to his den and roared at the government, tearing apart the sedition charges against him.

Whoever watched Kanhaiya’s speech would admit that he’s got what it takes to be a potential neta, but the important question is – which party would Kanhaiya tilt towards?

Meanwhile, party leaders have accelerated their recruitment drive for the young firebrand. The first leader to win this round is none other than Arvind Kejriwal. The Chief Minister applauded the JNUSU comrade’s speech on twitter.

This got us, thinking about why political parties should look to recruit Kanhaiya.

AAP Aye Bahaar Ayee

It’s time Arvind Kejriwal handed over the broom to Kanhaiya Kumar – the next ‘dharna Kumar’. The AAP should really consider upgrading their votebank fromautowallahs to JNU-wallahs. Aise thodi Gadhi chalegi AAP ki?

Ab Ki Baar, Kanhaiya Kumar

After chaiwallah, it’s time for the BJP to enrol a JNU-wallah to the party. Well, maybe that’s not cool enough. What’s cooler is that Kanhaiya could also be one of the few ministers in the party with an actual degree.

Kattar Soch Nahi, Kanhaiya Josh

Let’s be honest, the Congress party needs a face, and a man to take on Modi & Co. And Kanhaiya’s speech on Thursday night just proved that – Ek Bihari Sab Pe Bhari!
